RAYMOND K. JONES - SUPPORTING FAMILIES IMPACTED BY GUN VIOLENCE
Despite the strength of their mission, the Raymond K. Jones Foundation was looking for an updated website that could more effectively communicate their mission, share their story, and provide valuable resources to their community.
In support of their mission, Blue Dot Creative chose the RKJ Foundation for their 2025 Pro-Bono Creative Project.
THE PROBLEM
Blue Dot Creative partnered with Raymond K. Jones to refresh their digital presence and reintroduce the foundation’s story in a way that inspired connection and remembrance. Our goal was to create a website that visually reinforced the impact and community spirit behind their mission while equipping the team with tools to share the story of people impacted by gun violence with donors and people alike.
PROJECT SUMMARY
Our process kicked off with an exploration into the organization's current visual identity as well as themes found across other organizations and movements in the gun violence awareness community. This informed our decision to establish a new identity, defined by the color that is most associated with gun violence awareness, orange.

Through this pro-bono partnership, Blue Dot Creative helped align the RKJ Foundation’s digital presence with the heart of its mission, creating a respectful, story-driven space that honors lives impacted by gun violence and supports ongoing community engagement.
