Over the last year we have had the exciting opportunity to partner with Empower 7 on a few different projects including this one. A User Experience-centered project where we have built onboarding hubs for their mentorship program.

A Digital Onboarding Experience For A Digital Generation
A Digital Onboarding Experience For A Digital Generation
Previously, Empower 7 onboarded their new mentors and mentees with physical packets. It quickly became clear that presenting masses of information to teenagers was not a proper solution and sought out our assistance to create an all new digital User Experience for their mentors and mentees.
The Raymond K. Jones Foundation carries a mission rooted in remembrance, healing, and community impact. While the heart of the organization was strong, their digital presence didn’t yet reflect the weight of the stories they carry or the people they serve. This project was about creating space for those stories to live on. Clearly, respectfully, and with intention.

Personalized Welcome Messages On Every Login
Mentorship is a very personal process and although it is subtle, including a personal touch to our welcome message reminds mentors that Empower 7 is there to help and that they are not alone.

All-in-one Access to Mentor Resources
To promote autonomy for their mentors, we included an access point to all forms, resources, and files that mentors would need to access on a regular basis.
To build up hype for the New Toyota Stadium renovations that will be officially completed in 2028, having clear and engaging sections that showcase the new stadium features was essential. We created layouts that enabled us to provide detailed explorations of each of the new stadium features without adding significant scroll-time.

A Personal Greeting from Empower 7's Founder
Earning the trust of today's youth is no easy task, that is why we made the effort to display Empower 7 as personally as we could to the new mentees. Including a message from the founder of the organization gives the youth a name and a face to trust.

The RootedPath Mentorship Program is very complex and has many layers to it. That is why we made the effort to provide information in a digestable way for the youth to start to understand fully what they are joining.
