A Living Memorial, NOT Just A Static Page.
At the center of this project was a custom memorial tribute system CMS designed to grow with the foundation. Instead of a one-time page, we built a flexible system that allows the RKJ team to continuously add, update, and highlight stories of individuals impacted by gun violence.
Each tribute is treated with care, giving families and communities a place to remember, reflect, and be seen.
REDEFINED ART DIRECTION
After discussing things over with their team, we decided to shift towards a color combination that simultaneously associated itself with other gun violence movements, and came off more welcoming to new visitors.

As a part of our inaugural Pro Bono Creative Project, we chose to support the RKJ Foundation's mission of providing support to families impacted by gun violence.

Whitney serves as Founder and President of the Raymond K. Jones Foundation. Many years after her father was killed in a act of gun violence, she found herself face-to-face with Debra Trice, the woman that took her father's life. In a powerful display of grace rooted in her Christian faith, she extended forgiveness to Debra and dedicated her life to the mission of providing support to families that were just like her own, impacted by the effects of gun violence.
